EVENTS INThe Fingal Village located in the enchanting Walled Garden will host multiple council departments eager to engage with the public through interactive activities about their respective endeavours.
Library will showcase their mobile library van and have organised a plethora of entertainment options for children, including captivating puppet shows, delightful story times and whimsical face painting. To courage the use and learning of the Irish language, a pop-up Gaeltacht area will entice visitors to converse and delve into the rich linguistic heritage.
Digital services (IT) team will captivate attendees with immersive VR demonstration showcasing the magnificence of Swords cultural quarters and the exciting Balbriggan rejuvenation project, all experienced through the cutting edge Oculus technology.
Visitors will be treated to delighted array of goodies including tote bags, convenient phones stands, bucket hats and more. Many other departments across the Council will be showcasing during the weekend of Flavours and the Village will be open from 11am until 6pm each day.
